PPP – Jokers in our midst

HONESTLY I didn’t want to give more publicity to the so-called People’s Progressive Party from Malaya, but it really is annoying me that some Sarawakians have been duped into joining the party.

Why any TRUE Sarawakian would join a MALAYA party is beyond me.

To add insult to injury, this MALAYA party is a so-called member of the Barisan Nasional! Having respected the rights of Sarawakians to govern themselves since 1963, no MALAYA BN party has ever set up shop in this great State of ours.

Even UMNO has made it clear that it is not opening branches here, even though it would seem a handful of locals have tried to promote it from time to time.

It is a matter of respect. Respect that Sarawakians are more than capable of handling our own affairs, our own way.

So what is this MALAYA PPP? Well it’s definitely as some Sarawakian politicians have called it, a JOKER party.

Let’s recall the 2008 General Elections. How many seats did this JOKER party win? ZERO …

In fact during the 2004 General Elections, the party only had ONE seat – the parliamentary seat of Taiping, which its president M Kayveas could not hold on to just four years later …

So if PPP can’t even retain its ONE seat in Malaya, why is it trying to fish for seats in Sarawak? DESPERATION!!!!

And yet some Sarawakians are allowing themselves to ‘led’ by those clearly rejected by the people of Malaya themselves.

It is actually ironic that the party is called ‘progressive’. It doesn’t seem to have made any progress, in fact it has simply gone further and further downhill over the years.

What irks me even more is that Sarawakians should realise from the experience of our Sabahan brothers and sisters that once any Malaya party gets a foothold here, truly Sarawakian leadership will be sidelined. There’s respect now, but who knows how long that will last if a joker leads some astray? Need I say more?

Jokers are only good for a laugh. Please don’t sacrifice the future of Sarawakians to them.

  2. Oh Saudara Matthew, you are obviously very passionate about your opinions on PPP from your home in Johor, Malaya; Ontario, Canada; or where ever it is you are living now. I respect your opinions just like I hope you will respect the opinions of us Sarawakians who are actually living in this State of ours. We do not want need nor want a Malaya party here in Sarawak. Any Malaya party in fact.

PPP helped you when you were in Malaya as they should. They are a Malaya party and that was their backyard. Sarawak parties do not set up branches in Malaya because that is not their backyard. That is the respect that BN components are supposed to give each other. And that has been the case until PPP decided to go against the wishes of BN components by setting up shop here.

And to say that only PPP can defeat Malaya opposition? Really? How come PPP failed to defeat Malaya opposition in Malaya but is suddenly capable of doing so in Sarawak? And to say that only they can do so is disrespectful to all Sarawakians.

Notice that PPP had no interest in Sarawak until the party was wiped out in Malaya. Suddenly they are looking for new shores after being rejected by the people of Malaya. Suddenly they are experts on Sarawak and ready to serve the people here.

Sincere? Really? I think Sarawakians in Sarawak are far more preceptive than this Malaya party gives us credit for.

    • Saudara Edan Kasmaran,

Terima kasih saudara diatas email saudara mengenai PPP Sarawak.

Saudara lupakah siapa sebenarnya memerintah Malaysia….kan UMNO bukan PBB Sarawak saudara.

  4. Bro…when Sarawakian in Johor need help any your belove party from Sarawak help them……maybe your YB are busy counting thier profit from tender . Why you so passive regards to PPP enter Sarawak. Agreed PPP are lost only seat at Taiping but for us which help by PPP at Johor they are thru politician. I challenge you what PBB, SUPP, SPDP and PRS have done for Sarawakin since they are rule Sarawak since 1963. Until today some of kampung are still don’t have electricity and treatment water to drink. Sarawak is richest state in Malaysia but I said that we still far behind others state like Kedah and Perlis not compare to Johor or KL. All PPP leadres can acess by phone easyly not like what your BN sarawak leaders which can contacted by PA or Secretary. Do you ahve your beloved CM handphone no like PPP can have Kayveas handphone.

I thinks you and your BN Sarawak leaders not allowed PPP due to worry some of Sarawak secret will be expose to federal which will shame of your leaders. What PPP have done are to help your BN party recruits new members and voters to BN sarawak rather that going to Pakatan Rakyat(PR). Bro…maybe you like BN Sarawak and SUPP will more lost incoming election that why all BN leaders against PPP enter Sarawak. Only your leaders are againts PPP but to all Sarawkian are them welcome PPP because they are still love BN. Some of your old candidates are feel that still want to be in power as YB’s but people at the grass root or rakyat hate them.

Don’t forget brother this joker party will acceptable by the most Sarawakian in 1 year time because PPP are close to people heart and friendly not like your BN Sarawak party. I not understand why BN Sarawak leaders have unwanted feel towards PPP. We are the real rakyat understand who is our future not like your party which just benefit for your own leaders which long time ago we already put our dream with your leaders what happen today what we get. Like me after graduate 1000 of application send but not even 1 call for appiontment. SCORE……who benefit rakyat or ………. even security also we rakyat not qualify for that post.

Maybe you thing who I am but we are the REAL BN supporter..we love BN but your existing party are useless which no room for youngster like us and also all your leaders are like TUANKU after elected as YB’s when they are forget rakyat are make thme to that post.

waiting your reply and will be more….post here

    • Friendly party. Approachable party. Understanding party. YESSS!! I want that parrty!!!…But, how come cannot win in election in Malaya, hah??

Brother, they nice to you because they want to come to Sarawak lahh!…Judging by your name, you must be a Sarawakian, so it’s stories from Sarawakians like you that they need to win the hearts and minds of our fellow Sarawakians. Make sure they treat you real well, OK.

Real Malaya people know what they are really like, otherwise the party will win all the seats they contest in Malaya. What they need to do is ask a Sarawakian to contest in Johor and maybe even promise a Sarawakian to be president of PPP after Kayveas, then we’ll see how sincere this party is.

As wonderful as you think PPP are, what they THINK they can do in Sarawak is all wishful thinking. They should concentrate on winning back the seats that our beloved BN has given them instead of being so greedy as to think about extending their power to a land where they have absolutely no relevance, whatsoever.

Sorry to hear that your 1,000 applications resulted in nothing, but we have hope that the future will be much brighter for Sarawak and we hope that you and other fellow Sarawakians will be able to find greener pastures in our homeland through SCORE in the coming years.

      • Yes..Bro..I am 110% Sarawakian and more detail I native of Sarawak ( Iban) from Ngemah , Kanowit. My name appear there was real name not using illusion name like you because what ever I speak is from bottom of my heart. When I was no job at Johor last time PPP thru thier Pemuda wing have find job for us and my friends which all Sarawakian. As I mentioned earlier I have 1000 times fill in the SPA Sarawak by hope to hire by Sarawak goverment but maybe mistake my father was not politician like you brother that why my application was rejected.

For me PPP not win any seat during not importants but when you need them all thiers leaders are ready toi serve people and rakyat. For what like your parti win all seat but when need your help where all the YB’s……..busy with meeting and some tenders. WHO vote them this meeting or tenders. As your wish brothers one of leaders from Iban at Johor have appionted as Ahli Majlis at MPPG maybe YB later pray for GOD..ameen. How DAP gain so much from the people because DAP in people heart not like your BN sarawak concept like exclusive club which nobody can give ideas and suggestion.

Hope and pray to GOD more position at MLNG, ABF, Shell and Petronas back to Sarawakian and all contract should give to Sarawakian as your wish. But seem to be nobody BN Sarawak voice out why the scenario like that more Malaya rather that sarawakian to fill the post and contract with Petronas, ABF, MLNG or Shell. Are Sarawakian no talented person or qualification. You people said left Sarawak to Sarawakian where all the hero’s to speak out this matters with Malaya people.

Maybe all the hero’s just scare PPP will be fill in the blank where there are BN Sarawak weak and because of that all the position, allocation and others benefit will be share with PPP or maybe have some secret will be revell when PPP in the BN Sarawak family that why them make totaly reject PPP. This is nothing to do with harmony or understanding among BN componant. PPP want to be BN Sarawak without ask any benefit them comdem like heal and rejection with unwanted feel. BN Sarawak should thing how to win back where they are lost to DAP or opposition not by comdem PPP which BN party.
